Easy to make and great for lunches the next day. I love to serve these on onion buns. You do need a foreman or a grill for this one, obviously.
Level 1: Simple, tasty, and not that time consuming
Servings: Makes about 4 big burgers
Ingredients:
1 large, brown egg
1 package of lean, ground turkey. I use 99% fat free Jennie O usually
1/2- 1/4 onion, chopped. I like to use 1/4 an onion because I am not an onion fanatic, but adjust to your taste
1/3 cup breadcrumbs, Progresso Italian style are my favorite
paprika, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1. Turn on the grill. Grab a large bowl. Add the turkey and egg. Smush it together. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix them. I use my hands to smush because it works the best. Be sure to use some good soap after touching nasty raw meat.
2.After it's sufficiently smushed, form into patties and plop on the foreman grill. Cook according to the instruction book's times.
3.Top with some pepperjack cheese, your favorite toppings, and serve with onion buns and a good beer. Mmmm!
